Our Team

Meet the friendly veterinarians at Animal Health Center.

Dr. Carmen Saladino

Dr. Carmen Saladino received her D.V.M. from University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing in the Tampa area for 24 years! She is married with two children, but her family also includes three cats and a dog. In her free time, she enjoys photography and spending time with her family.

Dr. Brianna Aquino-Moreta
Dr. Brianna Aquino-Moreta was born in New Jersey but has been living in Tampa since she was 8 years old. Ever since she was a little girl, she remembers wanting to care for sick animals and would get in trouble by her mom for bringing home animals she wanted to care for. Dr. Bri knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since the 7th grade and has since worked towards that dream. She attended the University of South Florida where she obtained a Bachelors in Integrative Animal Science with a minor in French. Dr. Bri then attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 and completed her clinical rotations at Louisiana State University. During her vet school career, she also completed her acupuncture certification with Chi University.

Dr. Bri enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine-from surgery to internal medicine to acupuncture-she loves learning new ways to treat and help all pets. Though dogs and horses have a special place in her heart, Dr. Bri enjoys working with all kinds of animals and will always try to help them with the best of her abilities. Dr. Bri is fluent in Spanish due to her Dominican culture but is also proficient in French.

During her free time, she loves to travel, read a good thriller while eating warm chocolate chip cookies, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Maria Botinas

Dr. Maria Botinas, originally from Central New Jersey, moved to Florida in 2020. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Dr. Botinas is passionate about building long-term relationships with her clients and their pets.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young boys, as well as their beloved Cockapoo, Abby. You can often find her cheering on her boys at soccer games or strolling down Main Street USA at Disney World.
